Maharashtra assembly elections: know the political equation of Chinchwad seat
Chinchwad assembly seat is a part of Pune district and falls in Maval Lok Sabha constituency. This seat is dominated by BJP. After 1995, this seat has been occupied by BJP, meanwhile, only this seat was won by an independent candidate in 2009.

चिंचवड़ विधानसभा सीट पुणे जिले का हिस्‍सा है और मावल लोकसभा क्षेत्र में आती है. इस सीट पर बीजेपी का खासा दबदबा रहा है. 1995 के बाद इस सीट पर बीजेपी का कब्जा रहा है, इस बीच महज एक बार इस सीट पर 2009 में निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी को कामयाबी मिली थी.
