Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the coalition has yet to discuss about appointing Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein as secretary-general.

When asked about the talks that the Sembrong MP, who is also former Umno vice-president will be appointed to the post, Zahid told reporters on Wednesday that they have not had a supreme council meeting

Meanwhile, on the upcoming Tanjung Piai by-election, Zahid, who is also the Umno president said that BN had set a date to announce its candidate.
