An Iranian oil tanker has caught fire after an explosion near the coast of Saudi Arabia.
The National Iranian Oil Company, to which the vessel belongs, claims that it was hit by two suspected missiles, but didn't provide evidence.
The accident damaged two of its tankers and caused oil to leak into the Red Sea.
But there were no reports of casualties, and the situation is said to be under control.
Meanwhile, there was no immediate comment from Saudi Arabia or the U.S. Navy on who they think is responsible for the suspected attack.
The incident comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia following a series of attacks on oil tankers and production facilities in the region.
