A car failed to stop at a pedestrian lane in Cebu City, hitting 2 girls crossing the street, Friday, October 4. According to Klin Layos, who uploaded the video from her dashcam, the car was speeding at 20-30 kph.
Layos said the driver admitted her fault and will provide for the medication of the injured victims.
In 2015, the World Health Organization (WHO) said 53% of reported road traffic fatalities in the Philippines were riders of motorized two- or three-wheeler vehicles, followed by pedestrians at 19%.
