Sev has never tasted better, this one has to be the one of the quickest and easiest vegetarian food recipes of all time that tastes absolutely heavenly. With the use of minimal spices and just our basic veggies, this Indian curry from Madhya Pradesh is an absolute gem. Have it with Paav, Roti or Parantha, Sev Tamatar Ki Sabzi will leave you speechless.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS :
1 bowl sev
4 tbsp. refined oil
1 tbsp. turmeric powder
1 tbsp. red chilli powder
1 tbsp. garam masala
2-3 bay leaves
2 chopped onions
1 chopped tomato
2 tbsp. chopped coriander
Salt to taste
Water
METHOD:
Prepare a spices paste of turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt, and keep it aside
Heat refined oil in a utensil
Add bay leaves to heated oil
Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown
Add the paste with a pinch of water and keep frying for a while
Add chopped tomato and keep stirring
Add sev into the masala mixture with water
Garnish with coriander
Serve hot!
