Nick Jonas Will Join
‘The Voice’ as a Coach.
On Oct. 7, Nick Jonas appeared on ‘The Ellen
DeGeneres Show’ with his brothers and announced
his upcoming role on the 2020 season of ‘The Voice.’.
The 27-year-old Jonas brother will join fellow
singers Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly
Clarkson as a coach for the show's 18th season. .
In a video clip shared by DeGeneres, Shelton congratulated
Nick on his role but quickly began to poke fun at his age.
I wanted to, first of all, say congratulations,
I guess. But second of all, I wanted to voice
some concerns that I have. I’m going to have
to look through the rules because this is my
TV show. I’m not even sure if you’re old
enough to be a coach on 'The Voice.’, Blake Shelton, via ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’.
DeGeneres also shared a message from
Clarkson, who said she and Nick should form
an “alliance” as they’re both “Texans.”.
Legend then chimed in, saying they should all form an alliance,
with the three of them teaming up to “destroy Blake Shelton.” .
In response to their messages,
Nick agreed to a possible alliance
that would focus on defeating Shelton. .
Just to be clear, Blake, I’m going to kick your a--.
I think Kelly’s point about forming an alliance
might make sense, and John, I love you, but we
