Good afternoon, have an umbrella handy today. Western regions, including Seoul, will see good amount of rain with 40 millimeters of precipitation in the forecast. Showers are due to let up this afternoon starting in the central region.
The rain has brought chillier air to the country. Highs in many regions will be in the teens, so wrap up warm, southern regions will also have a breezy afternoon.
A relatively cold pattern will set in for next few days, this Wednesday which is Hanguel Day in Korea, will have the chilliest morning temperatures of the season at a low of 8 degrees in Seoul, but readings will return to near seasonal norms by the end of the week.
Another typhoon has formed, off the east coast of Guam, Tropical Storm Hagibis. For now, it doesn't seem like it will impact Korea but it could shift track due to difference in surrounding atmospheric pressure.
