This is the funny moment a politician tumbled off a makeshift boat while posing for a picture in a flood-stricken town in northern India.

The incident took place on October 2 in Dhanaruaa near Patna city in Bihar state.

Visuals show BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav posing with others on a makeshift boat made out of a tyre, overcrowding the boat, and causing all aboard to fall into the waters.

Bihar has been recently hit by widespread floods that have prompted responses from both disaster relief workers and the Indian Air Force.
