On Wednesday, seven members of the biggest mobile robbery gang were arrested and sent to jail by the Meerut police. There have been shocking revelations in the interrogation of gang members. This gang made bills of many fake companies and sent stolen mobiles from Mumbai to Nepal for sale in many countries. According to an estimate, in the last five years, this gang sold about 1.25 million mobiles abroad. According to the police, this business is worth more than Rs 50 crore. One crore worth of phone-laptops have been recovered from the gang's possession.

देशभर में मोबाइल लूट-चोरी करने वाले सबसे बड़े गिरोह के सात सदस्यों को बुधवार को मेरठ पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया। गैंग के सदस्यों से पूछताछ में चौकाने वाले खुलासे हुए हैं। यह गैंग कई फर्जी कंपनियों के बिल बनाकर चोरी के मोबाइल मुंबई से नेपाल के रास्ते कई देशों में बिक्री के लिए भेजता था। एक अनुमान के मुताबिक, पिछले पांच साल में इस गिरोह ने करीब सवा लाख मोबाइल विदेशों में बेच दिए। पुलिस मान रही है कि इस हिसाब से यह धंधा करीब 50 करोड़ रुपये से ऊपर का है। गैंग के कब्जे से एक करोड़ कीमत के फोन-लैपटॉप बरामद किए गए हैं।
