Work starts on NRC in Up like Assam. On the lines of Assam, work is also on to implement the National Register of Citizens in Uttar Pradesh. The DGP office has completed its preparation. The draft will be sent to all district captains, IGs, DIGs (range) and all ADGs (zones), and instructions will be given to execute it. The draft of NRC has been prepared by DGP Headquarters.
