Former U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton claims North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will never voluntarily give up his nuclear weapons arsenal,... at least under "the current circumstances".
Speaking at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington on Monday,... Bolton said the North Korean leader is doing whatever he can to keep his regime's nuclear weapons capability.... and to develop and enhance it even further.
Bolton added that nuclear weapons are Kim's bargaining chip to get relief from international sanctions.
Bolton, who is well-known for his hawkish foreign policy views, was blamed by President Trump for hurting negotiations with North Korea,... and was dismissed last month.
