President Moon Jae-in and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov have agreed to boost their bilateral partnerships in the fields of nuclear energy, arms production and ICT.
South Korea's presidential office said Friday's summit in Seoul also saw the leaders agreeing to expand "mutually beneficial, forward-looking cooperation in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure and national defense, culture and education."
President Moon said South Korea can be an "optimal" business partner in the Eastern European nation's push to introduce nuclear reactors and upgrade its weapon systems and he touted the expertise of South Korean firms in those sectors.
