With a wide variety of flora and fauna, Malaysia has numerous environmental organisations advocating for the protection of its rich biodiversity.

Ecotourism & Conservation Society of Malaysia (ECOMY) is doing just that but with a different spin as they specifically promote ecotourism.

For its efforts, ECOMY is recognised as one of the 10 winners of Star Golden Hearts Award 2019, an annual award that celebrates everyday Malaysian unsung heroes.
