A flash flood has deluged a road in Kirkby, Merseyside today (September 24).

Dashcam footage shows drivers battling through the water on the A506, County Road.

The adverse weather conditions have arrived in time for the first week of Autumn that started on September 23.

The filmer commented online: "Flash flooding, roads in Kirkby this morning are bad!"
