A young girl stood on her grandfather's shoulders while being taken to school in southwestern China.

The video, shot in Kaili city in Guizhou province on September 19, shows the girl balancing on her 53-year-old grandfather's shoulders as he walks along a road.

According to reports, the grandfather named Wu Zhonghai is a martial artist who learnt kung fu from eight-years-old.

His granddaughter is a year-one student and she has been learning martial arts from him for three years now.
