While everyone knows about the famous Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army, many are unaware they also made a target version. The Colt Bisley was produced from 1894 to 1915 with around 45,000 guns produced in total. While the front half of the revolver is identical to the single action army, the rear of the firearm is completely different. The grip, trigger, and hammer were completely redesigned for target shooting. Larry Potterfield, CEO and Founder of MidwayUSA, presents these features using a Bisley chambered in 38-40 WCF.
