Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich:
Ingredients:
Chicken breasts 2
Soy sauce ¼ cup
Pineapple juice ¾ cup
Garlic powder ½ tsp
Ground ginger ½ tsp
Dry mustard ½ tsp
White pepper ¼ tsp
Brown sugar ¼ cup
Honey 2 tbsp
Buns to serve
Method:
Bring everything but the chicken to a boil and simmer until it starts to reduce. Cool completely and pour over the chicken, cover and refrigerate the chicken for about 2 hours. When it's time to eat, take the chicken out of the marinade, throw marinade away and grill or broil the chicken until done. Place chicken pieces in grilled bun. Drizzle with sweet onion sauce.
Chicken Dill Salad:
Ingredients:
Chicken breasts (cooked) 2
Diced celery 1 stalk
Yogurt 1 cup
Mayonnaise ¼ cup
Chopped dill ¼ cup
Chopped green onion 1
Mustard 1 tbsp
Apple cider vinegar/ honey 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Black pepper ¼ tsp
Lemon zest of 1 lemon
Bread or croissants as required
Method:
Mix chicken and celery. Combine yogurt, mayonnaise, dill, spring onion, mustard, apple cider vinegar or honey, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Stir dressing into chicken and celery until everything is coated evenly. Serve immediately on bread or in croissants.
Banana Cake With Chocolate Glaze:
Ingredients:
Flour 1-3/4 cup
Caster sugar ½ cup
Baking soda ¾ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Mashed bananas 3
Egg 1
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Thick yogurt ½ cup
Honey 1 tsp
Unsalted butter, melted ½ cup
Chopped chocolate 2 cups
Cream ½ cup
Method:
Combine the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix bananas and the egg. Add in the vanilla followed by the yogurt, honey and the butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and gently combine using a spatula. Once the dry ingredients are fully incorporated into the wet, mix in 1 cup of the chocolate chunks. Transfer the batter to a greased and floured Bundt pan and bake at 180 degrees C for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Transfer tin to a cooling rack and let cool completely before glazing. When ready to glaze, heat up the cream with the remaining chocolate chunks until the chocolate has fully melted. Pour over the cake and serve immediately.

Ingredients:
Light corn syrup ½ cup
Finely minced onion 1 tbsp
Red wine vinegar 1 tbsp
White vinegar 2 tsp
Balsamic vinegar 1 tsp
Brown sugar 1 tsp
Milk 1 tsp
Lemon juice ¼ tsp
Poppy seeds 1/8 tsp
Salt 1/8 tsp
