Oil prices surge after drone attack on state facilities halves Saudi Arabian output

Houthi rebels in Yemen claim to have initiated drone attacks that caused explosions and fires at two major Saudi Aramco state oil processing plants in Saudi Arabia on September 14, 2019.  No injuries were reported, but global oil prices have surged as the kingdom’s energy minister admitted that Saudi Arabia’s overall production was cut in half after the attack.
