Every year, September 14 is celebrated as Hindi Diwas. On this day in 1950, the Constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi, an Indo-Aryan language, written in Devanagari script as one of the official languages of the Republic of India. अंग्रेजी भाषा के बढ़ते चलन और हिंदी की अनदेखी को रोकने के लिए हर साल 14 सितंबर को देशभर में हिंदी दिवस मनाया जाता है। आजादी मिलने के दो साल बाद 14 सितंबर 1949 को संविधान सभा में एक मत से हिंदी को राजभाषा घोषित किया गया था और इसके बाद से हर साल 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा।
