Bersatu chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad today called on party members to avoid being rejected by the people by learning from Umno’s defeat in the 14th general election.

He said this during a prayer ceremony in Shah Alam last night in conjunction with Bersatu’s third anniversary.

Meanwhile, Bersatu leaders were also reminded not to “worship” money and power if they wanted to maintain the party’s hold on Putrajaya.

Mahathir said the party’s cause must be based on the nation and race.
