U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has wished Koreans around the world a happy Chuseok,... also mentioning people of North Korea.
A statement Tuesday on the State Department's official website said, "I would like to wish the people of South and North Korea, and Koreans around the world, a happy Chuseok holiday."
He also emphasized the alliance between South Korea and the U.S. by saying that this time of contemplation will be spent on recognizing the strength of the alliance, which he said is solid and based on shared values.
