Smartphones made by Samsung ranked number one in the second quarter this year in Latin America, recording an all-time high market share.
According to the market research firm Counterpoint, Samsung had a market share of roughly 43 percent - a double digit on year growth.
Motorola came in at second with 15 percent, followed by Huawei with 13 percent.
Samsung and Motorola have been the biggest winners from Huawei's loss of sales in Latin America after the U.S. cracked down on the Chinese firm citing national security.
