After many months of bitterness, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Alka Lamba quit the party today with a tweet saying it was "time to say good bye". Earlier this week, she had met with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, setting off speculation that she would return to her old party ahead of state polls next year.

दिल्ली के चांदनी चौक से विधायक अलका लांबा ने आज आम आदमी पार्टी की प्राथमिक सदस्यता से इस्तीफा दे दिया. अलका लांबा ने ट्विटर पर लिखा, 'AAP को गुड बाय कहने का समय आ गया है. पार्टी की प्राथमिक सदस्यता से इस्तीफा दे दिया.' पिछले दिनों अलका लांबा ने कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी से मुलाकात की थी. माना जा रहा था कि अलका जल्द ही कांग्रेस में शामिल हो सकती हैं.
