South Korean striker Son Heung-min becomes the first Asian player to make the shortlist for FIFA's best eleven.
FIFPro, an organization representing over 65-thousand professional footballers,… has released its 55-player shortlist of nominees for the 2019 FIFA FIFpro Men's World Eleven.
Son Heung-min will compete with other 14 players including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah for the three attacking slots on the best eleven.
The final selection will be announced at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Milan on September 23.
