MANILA - Senator Jinggoy Estrada has adjusted to life inside the Philippine National Police Custodial Center despite facing his fear of cockroaches, Atty. Alexis Abastillas-Suarez said. "On pests, he has a fear of cockroaches pero so far wala naman siyang reklamo about it, na nag fi-freak out. At least hindi namin alam," she said. The lawyer said Estrada has adjusted quickly despite the heat. "It is really hot because the roof is low and the walls are really high. Masyadong kulob yung detention nila," she said. She said Estrada was even joking about making loom bands or bringing his iPad to the cell "so he could play games." She said that before he was detained, Estrada wanted a TV in his cell so he could see what is happening outside. Estrada was ordered detained last Monday after he was charged with graft and plunder before the Sandiganbayan. ANC, June 25, 2014
