MANILA - A Palace spokesman on Tuesday remained mum on whether or not President Aquino will mention the filing of charges against suspects in the pork barrel scam in his next State of the Nation Address. Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma skirted the question Tuesday, saying only that President Aquino is bent on fulfilling his promise to enforce the law. "I think there is unusual emphasis on personalities but the emphasis should be on the principle that no one is above the law and that the kind of justice we can expect in this country is blindfolded," he said in an interview on ANC's Headstart. Senator Jinggoy Estrada earlier accused the government of rushing the filing of cases against him and Senators Bong Revilla and Juan Ponce Enrile so that they would be jailed before the SONA. The three are accused of plunder and graft after allegedly millions of pesos in pork barrel funds. ANC HEADSTART, June 17, 2014
