MANILA -- Two siblings died when a private vehicle crashed into an oil truck in Barangay Santo Tomas, Jaen, Nueva Ecija. The fatalities were 28-year-old Aries dela Cruz, and 31-year-old Arlene Goto, who was eight months pregnant. Their two companions survived. Police said the siblings were headed home for Jaen from Pampanga when their car collided with an incoming oil tanker after trying to overtake another vehicle. The oil tanker's driver claimed the car was speeding. - ANC
