The NBA has formally charged Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling with damaging the league with racist comments. Officials have also set a hearing for June 3, after which owners could vote to remove him. Sterling was banned for life last month and threatened with the forced sale of his franchise after an audio recording surfaced of a conversation in which he berated a female friend for publicly associating with black people. -- Mornings @ ANC, May 21, 2014.
