The Bureau of Customs has filed a smuggling complaint against an importer Sun Ford Trading for the illegal importation of two products. Customs Commissioner Sunny Sevilla says Sun Ford failed to secure product certifications after importing plywood and steel wires. Sevilla added Sun Ford has forged stamps in its plywood to make it appear that the product has been tested and certified by the DTI. Meanwhile, Sun Ford has also misdeclared steel wires as other products that don't need certification. ANC Dateline Philippines, May 15, 2014
