MRT passengers on Wednesday morning got to try the "express trains" which aim to cut the long queues during rush hour. The trial started at 7 a.m. and ended at 9 a.m. Under the scheme, the express trains will pick up passengers in Quezon Avenue, Kamuning and Cubao stations, and unload them in Buendia, Ayala, Magallanes and Taft Avenue stations. In the afternoon, express trains will pick up passengers in Magallanes, Ayala and Buendia stations, and unload them in Cubao, Kamuning, Quezon Avenue and North Avenue stations.
