Ruby Tuason's lawyer Dennis Manalo has rejected Senator Jinggoy Estrada's allegation that his client benefited from the Malampaya fund scam. In his privilege speech, Estrada said Tuason's home in Dasmariñas Village, Makati was dubbed the "Malampaya Mansion" and that it would be enough to finance the P40 million Tuason has promised to return to government. Tuason left for the United States earlier this month, saying she had to sell her house there to raise the P40 million. Manalo adds the CCTV footage shown by Estrada does not disprove Tuason's claim that she delivered kickbacks to the senator. - Mornings@ANC, 14 March 2014
