President Aquino inaugurated the first "newly-built" Petron station in Malaysia. The new station is the first constructed by Petron Malaysia from the ground up because existing stations were the result of mergers and acquisitions. Aquino took a short tour inside the station, along with Petron Malaysia chairman Ramon Ang and country manager Jaime Lu. Petron entered the Malaysian market in early 2012. Ang says Petron's investment in Malaysia is expected to reach over $1 billion in the next several years, which includes the upgrade of its Port Dickson refinery and its retail network.- ANC
