MANILA – Three men were caught with firearms at a police checkpoint in Manila on Wednesday evening. The suspects were flagged down by policemen at the corner of Kalaw and Maria Orosa Streets because their car had no registration plate. Upon inspection, police discovered several firearms, ammunition and hand-held radios inside the suspects' car. The suspects, identified as Jessie Berin, Jerson Berin, and Abidan Renta refused to talk about their arrest and reveal the reason for possessing the firearms. – report from Kori Quintos, ABS-CBN News
