Meralco set to file new power rate hike

Meralco is set to file a petition at the Energy Regulatory Commission seeking to implement the supposed spike in January generation charge amounting to P5.33/kwh, which is higher than the increase in the December generation charge of P4.15/kwh which was stopped by the Supreme Court.
