MANILA- Several lawmakers are in Malaysia to observe the ongoing peace talks between the government and the MILF panels. The lawmakers are hopeful an agreement will be forged this weekend. According to government chief negotiator Prof. Miriam Coronel-Ferrer, the presence of the Philippine legislators in the negotiations is important since the senators and congressmen will be the one to craft the Basic Law for the Bangsamoro.
