ABS-CBN News reporter Jeff Canoy shared his first-hand account of what it's like to join the procession of the image of the Black Nazarene. Canoy, who has been covering the feast for the last 7 years, said it was his first time to go up the carriage or "andas" carrying the image of the dark-skinned Jesus Christ. He reported feeling a sense of bayanihan spirit, citing the devotees' willingness to help others get near the andas and be able to touch the statue of the Black Nazarene.
