MANILA -- Several rescue workers and relatives of victims of Typhoon "Yolanda" (international name Haiyan) remain stranded in Villamor Airbase in Pasay City. The rescue workers and several private individuals said some of them have been waiting for several days to board C130 planes leaving for Tacloban City in Leyte. The Armed Forces of the Philippines, however, said the priority to be flown at this point are the relief goods. AFP Spokesperson Col. Miguel Ernesto Okol said rescue workers who wish to board the C130 planes must coordinate with the AFP and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council. Okol said private individuals who want to board the planes may not be accommodated this time due to limited resources.
