MANILA -- President Aquino will visit Bohol and Cebu on Wednesday to check on relief efforts after the quake. In a press briefing Tuesday afternoon, Aquino reported geohazard maps have been improved after typhoon Pablo's onslaught last December, but there are still local government units which do not know how to use this. He said there will be efforts to reinforce old buildings so these will be able to withstand earthquakes. Aquino also said informal settlers in danger zones will have to be relocated. Meanwhile, Aquino said he will push through with his state visit to South Korea on Thursday and Friday as officials handling disaster response efforts are on top of the situation so far.
