MANILA - A group of government employees is criticizing how government savings were used for the Disbursement Acceleration Program. Ferdinand Gaite, president of the Confederation for Unity, Recognition and Advancement of Government Employees, said the money should have been used for more pressing matters. He said the funds could have been used to increase the salaries of underpaid government employees. "Sa halip na mapunta sa senator at congressman maging bahagi na yan ng allocation para sa government employees.
