MANILA -- Former Senator Panfilo Lacson will not join Monday's protest against the alleged misuse of pork barrel funds but said he will be there "in spirit." "Baka sabihin nila ume-epal eh. I'll just be there in spirit," Lacson said in an interview with "Mornings @ ANC" on Friday. "Kasi pareho rin, advocacy ko yun, advocacy nila. So in spirit I will definitely be with them," he added. A day of protest against the alleged misuse of public funds will be held on Monday, August 26, coinciding with the National Heroes’ Day. The protest, dubbed "A Million People's March to Luneta,” aims to show public outrage over the misuse of lawmakers' pork barrel. Mornings @ ANC, August 23, 2013
