MANILA -- Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Secretary Jun Abaya confirmed that the 2GO passenger vessel sank off the coast of Talisay City, Cebu shortly after it was hit at a "very vulnerable point" by the Sulpicio Lines cargo vessel.
