Passengers have been evacuated as smoke is seen billowing from a plane at Beijing Capital International Airport at around 16:00 today (August 27).

The video shows thick smoke pouring out of the cargo cabin of the flight CA183 from Beijing to Tokyo.

Another clip shows the airport crew using a water pipe to combat the smoke.

All passengers were evacuated safely and no fire was seen on the plane. The incident is still being investigated.
