미일 정상 무역협정 원칙적 합의

The United States and Japan have agreed in principle to a trade deal.
On the sidelines of the G7 summit in France, President Donald Trump said the two countries have agreed on the core elements of the deal, which is expected to be signed in New York next month.
U.S. trade representative Robert Lighthizer said the deal covered agriculture, industrial tariffs and digital trade.
Japan agreed to buy excess U.S. corn that is burdening American farmers as a result of the trade spat with China.
Auto tariffs would remain unchanged.
Meanwhile, Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yosihide Suga denied that Tokyo made too many concessions to the U.S., saying the trade agreement was very valuable.
