홍남기, 내년도 예산 510조원 이상…확장적 재정 필요

The South Korean government is considering a budget worth roughly 4-hundred-20 billion U.S. dollars for next year.
Speaking at a parliamentary meeting today,... Seoul's finance chief stressed the need for an expansionary spending plan to boost the economy.
A hike of around nine percent from this year's budget.
Hong Nam-ki explained... about 2 billion dollars will be set aside for the parts and materials industries... to make those sectors more competitive and to develop home-grown technologies as a remedy to Japan's export curbs.
The minister added they plan to execute 80 percent of an extra budget for those industries by the end of next month.
