Kenyan researchers to be trained on agriculture mechanization in South Korea

The government is seeking to reduce the cost of agricultural production by encouraging mechanization especially among small scale farmers to reduce labor costs during the midterm plan. The government has signed an agriculture research collaboration agreement with South Korea that among other things will see a number of Kenyan researchers receive a six months training on agriculture mechanization in South Korea every year.
