Good afternoon. Have an umbrella handy as rain is in store. Showers that started on Jeju Island this morning will gradually spread nationwide. Rain clouds will drop showers on southern coastal regions in the morning and spread to other southern regions and the Chungcheong-do Provinces by the afternoon.
Those southern areas could see up to 150 millimeters of rain with stormy conditions through Thursday night. Up north, we will see light sprinkles today and between 5 to 10 millimeters on Thursday morning.
Unlike the hot afternoon we had yesterday, daily highs will be 2 to 3 degrees lower today. Upper regions will be under a lot of cloud coverage.
Today's rain will bring slightly cooler conditions with it. Temperatures will go down and we'll have far cooler mornings, but the air will get a touch drier.

Meanwhile, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi is opposed to Japan's protectionism and unilateralism.
China's foreign ministry said Tuesday that,... he made related remarks during his face-to-face with his Japanese counterpart Taro Kono,… on the sidelines of the Seoul-Beijing-Tokyo foreign ministers' meeting.
But the ministry did not comment on whether Wang expressed thoughts specifically on the Seoul-Tokyo trade row.
Kono responded by reaffirming Japan's stance.
During his meeting with South Korean foreign minister Kang Kyung-hwa on the same day, Wang Yi said that three-way cooperation is important and that China is willing to help resolve the issue.
