The ruling Samajwadi Party’s silver jubilee celebrations was held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav was present, along with brother Shivpal Yadav and state Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Prominent JD(U), RJD, RLD leaders shared the stage with Uttar Pradesh’s first family.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, however, was not present despite a personal invitation.
The party launched official campaign with the event.
