1 person was killed, and many more injured in stone-pelting, and violent clashes which marred an event to mark the 200th anniversary of the Bhima Koregaon battle in Bhima Koregaon near Pune. The British Army comprising Dalits had defeated upper-caste Peshwas in the Bhima Koregaon battle of 1818.
