Officials in Iceland and climate change activists held a funeral on Sunday for the Okjokull Glacier - the country's first glacier lost to climate change.
The attendees said goodbye to the 700 year-old glacier with poems, a moment of silence and speeches about the pressing need to fight climate change.
During the ceremony,... a memorial plaque was installed where the lost glacier used to cover about 15 square kilometers.
Calling for immediate action... they said that, over the next 200 years, all of Iceland's glaciers are expected to disappear because of climate change.
