Shadow education secretary Angela Rayner has criticised Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson for saying that Jeremy Corbyn would be the wrong person to lead an emergency government. The Labour leader has written to opposition party leaders asking them to support a vote of no confidence in the government and install him as caretaker prime minister until a general election.
